WHITETAIL

Alberta is famous for its great deer hunting and its giant trophy bucks. Our area is full of large whitetail bucks. The whitetails go into rut late in November. This is when we produce the largest Alberta giants for our rifle hunting clients. We hunt the boreal forest fringe area were the mature bucks get a chance to grow because of the abundance of security cover. We put our dedicated hunters onto stands to watch travel corridors and scraplines. Few things can match the excitement of having a giant Alberta buck in your sights.

THE HUNTS

Whitetail hunting is excellent during the rut. The bucks are moving around a lot looking for receptive does. A light snow is common at this time, and trophy bucks are easier to find. We invest a considerable amount of time hunting from ground blinds and tree stands. Few things that can match watching a buck work his scrape line in your direction and into range or coming in to check out his territory after hearing your guide rattle. Our area has excellent access with many oil / logging roads and countless miles of cutlines. We use four-wheel drive and all-terrain vehicles extensively. We normally invest entire days on stand, rattling, spotting cutlines, or even occasionally pushing bush.

HUNT GUARANTEE

We are so confident in our hunting area and our guides that we are offering a performance guarantee. Any hunter paying full price and hunting the recommended hunt, who doesn't get a shooting opportunity can come the following year and repeat the same hunt for half price.

LOCATION

Our Whitetail hunting area is located a short 2 hours drive west of the Edmonton International airport, near the town of Edson in the beautiful foothills, agricultural fringe area of west central Alberta. We hunt the forested farm fringe area where the big bucks are.

BAG LIMIT

An additional two species licenses can be purchased optionally, as can a bird game license that we highly recommend.
