I'm Eric Rauhanen with Silver Fox Outfitters a full-time outfitter here in Alberta Canada. I run a series of hunts for my clients that cover many species. With the downturn in the world economy I've sharpened my pencil and tried to do my best to arrange a hunt at a price that is just right for you.

We start the season off with the spring bear hunt in the High-Level area of NW AB. Here we normally run two camps; this lets us cut down on travel to the bait sites. We hunt a two-tag area where almost everyone tags a bruin and we average about a 150% success rate. In the past I offered a 7-day hunt for $3150 but to encourage clients to book with us I'm now offering a 5-day hunt for the incredible price of $1999 plus licence and tax. This is a great hunt to bring a non-hunter with you and a chance to video your hunting experience.

After a summer break we start the fall off with our early season bow hunts and the rifle Elk hunt. Both these hunts can be had as drop camps with the special price of $1000. These are the most economical hunts offered in Alberta. Our success on these hunts fluctuates a fair bit; real bowhunters can understand the reasons.

From the Elk and bow hunts we move to rifle hunt rutting Moose. For this hunt I have limited permits and this hunt normally sells out well in advance. We hunt several areas at this time all the way from mountain zones with snow-covered peaks nearby to the gentle rolling foothills. The cost of this high success rate hunt is the normal $4,500. We do very well on this hunt; one year had us tag four bulls in four days by four clients.

After a 2 week break in late October we start our November hunt areas. The first hunt we offer is a tent camp moose or Elk hunt. The guys that can invest enough time do really well on this hunt. On this post rut hunt we travel the many logging roads looking at the various cut lines and logged out cut blocks looking for bulls and moose sign. This hunt I'm now offering for $3,000 a $1,500 savings to you. This is a really enjoyable experience and a lot different then the early season hunts.

**Whitetail Deer**  For 2013 I’m offering two separate special deals to my prospective clients. The first is the full service 6 day hunt including meals, accommodations and Edmonton pickup. This hunt is normally $4,500 but, I am offering this as a 2 for 1 deal. Meaning 2 hunters for $4,500 plus license and tax making this the best deal you’ll find on a fully guided Alberta Whitetail hunt. The 2nd offer is a 5 day hunt for $1,500 plus license and tax, paired hunters are needed or you can upgrade to a 1 on 1 hunt. To reduce the basic cost of the hunt to you we have eliminated meals, lodging and pickup from our services provided. This way you get to choose the level of service you want in these areas and are in charge of the cost.

After Christmas we run a limited number of special wolf hunts. These are booked and tailored to the clients needs.

Eric does a stand up job at the camp.. I would recommend Moose, Bear and Deer for the hunt.. Food is pretty bland due to locality and the number of diets, but plentiful in proportions. You won’t go hungry ..Our party drove and have the meat processed at the local butcher shop. Cost- Breakfast Sausages & Kielbasa 3.00 lb. hamburger, roast & steaks 1.50 lb

We did bring all of the meat back in coolers. The butcher froze the meat but processing took 3-days to complete. Eric let us hang out at the site until all of the animals were processed for the price of food 100-150 a day. Our crew stayed for almost 12 days.
